Country Joe 1,411
Recently I was walking the dog on forestry walks, had a lucky escape, saw the dog looking at something on the path in front of us, i grabbed him by the collar, and then noticed an Adder sunning its self on the path, if i hadn't grabbed him, im sure he would have been bitten. Been given advice if your dog is bitten by an adder, give the dog an antihistamine tablet and walk it steadily to your car no running, then get it to the vet as quick as possible, is this good advice? Unless the dog is going down hill the antihistamine will be enough ......... Quote Link to post
