Dog Went Weird

Recommended Posts

There's nothing wrong with him u see this a lot with hare coursing dogs it's when they have ran past there limit and are exhausted he will be fine more hart than stamina. Normally when you get them back on the lead and there wobbling the best thing is to give a drink and keep them moving in a slow walk

My dog did this once or twice when she was younger from exhaustion as described above. But she did occasionally have very similar fits during the last years of her life (about 13 - 16 years) which looked just the same, but as far as I could tell would happen after she had scavenged unsuitable filth from the farmyard. Even when she was very old, would recover from the fit in a couple of minutes. I did take her to a few vets, but didn't get any real answers. I can't remember if they tested blood and obviously it's a different scenario with an elderly dog.
