Deker 3,478
Seems as though you are getting to like that 22-250! They can make a mess, this was a year or two back, about 180 yards I seem to remember with a .223 V-Max. This was a .243 V-Max, a bit closer. Both a single shot! Cushty mush 95
& thought the 223 made a mess How much powder is in the 250? Bullet? Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
36.5g of powder i think. That's what is was told in the shop. I use the Hornady vmax 50g but to intend on trying 55g at some point. Quote Link to post
IanB 0
Sorry lads for any confusion, the reason certain images are removed, is basically were trying not to portray what we do in a bad light, certain images can be a bit too graphic and shouldn't really be shown, or for example a fox/rabbit badly damaged from the likes of a ballistic round, we know the mess they make, personally I'd turn it on its good side, when there's not much left it's not too easy to do. A small minority will use anything they can against us, we're just looking out for everyone and the sport, as I say it's nothing personal against any member .. Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
Fair enough in my opinion Ian. Quote Link to post
celticrusader 78
Yep I do agree...personally I think its a waste on rabbits and anything edible as well. 1 Quote Link to post
