Police Log Numbers

My old permission was on private land, even with signs displaying this, there was still joggers and dog walkers trespassing the woods and fields I'd hunt on.... So seeing me there in my camo and with my rifle on my shoulder always put the shit up them.

I called the police now and then but nothing ever happened so I ended up leaving it.

 

Bottom line, some people are lucky with the location of their perms but it's always good to inform them then have a squad turn up and rifles aimed on you and to ruin a night hunting.

Possibly true but "being safe, than sorry" is always a good motto to live by, especially in our sports.

I personally try and cover it from all angles that whenever I'm out that nothing spoils a good morning/night out. The police being the last people I expect to see

Fecking bus drivers used to call them when I was shooting at the uni and I always had a job number and pulled the car over and brought the gun right in and the armed responded always turned out but they where okay with us , after the sixth time after I came out the control room I went to the first bus I saw and told the driver what we where up to and it was legal with a job number he said no problem I will radio the garage and I've never had a problem since
