tsteve9999 456
I was thinking yesterday that maybe the birds will have a hard time of it this winter, The berries are nearly all ripe they'll be finished for the beginning of September at this rate.

neil cooney 10,416
I seen sloes today purple in colour and seen Curlew this morning passing over. Yesterday I seen 6 snipe landing beside a river, that's something you don't usually see around here 'till November. The Autumn sure has sneaked in.
dare 1,103
Personally I can't wait till winter. Love it when it's dark early and freezing out. Started a new job though that's outdoors so that might change now lol. All the posers no longer wanting to walk their mutts. Can't beat making a blanket downstairs and watching classic films in the dark.
terryd 8,679
Yep definite change in the weather this week mornings are nippy and the late evenings. Nights are pulling in and the black berries seem early. Fingers crossed for a nice frosty proper winter.
