I've went for 223 and looking for recommendations for a used setup, for roe deer and foxing.

been looking online and have a few ideas my self just fancied 2nd opinion.

the tikka is my first choice but finding it hard track down a used T3 hunter so got me looking at the CZ.

How much do you think a reasonable set up would cost?

Depends if you buy new or secondhand mate, lots of .223s on guntrader, and lots of good used scopes ang moderators out there as well, £500 should get you a good condition used set up I should have thought.

keep to a budget, you cannot go wrong, basic cz or fancy remmy

Cheers lads made a few phone calls and going to have a look at T3 stainless and a ruger at 2 Differant shops Il let you know what I decide.

well I've left a deposit on a CZ 527 comes with a scope nowt fancy but enough to get started just waiting on it being threaded, I've ordered a Pes moderator should all be ready to go by next weekend.

As the years roll by I believe the choice of Make is getting less and less important, the difference between makes when it comes to general field use is decreasing, there simply are no BAD ones out there!

 

Perhaps more important considerations are synthetic or wood, heavy or light!
