Blackbriar 8,569
I'm about to make my first set - up using looped bands (Dankung 1745) - I've only ever used flats in the past. What's the best way to attach the pouch ? My first thought is 'constrictor knot' of course, but I believe there's a way using a small cut - off section of the tubing fed over the band to hold it in place (am I making sense ?). Thoughts, gentlemen ? Cheers BB
atomlab 104
too much of a faff really compared to the wrap and tuck method using flatband,

gnipper 6,426
I use the piece of tube method myself, I did try the constrictor knot at first but find the tube better.

Blackbriar 8,569
I've been thinking of using the 'over - tube' method just because I think it looks tidier ! (Like I said, I've only ever used flats, secured with a 'wrap and tuck'.) I'll give it a go - cheers boys !
Blackbriar 8,569
too much of a faff really compared to the wrap and tuck method using flatband, 5 or 6 hours worth of faff in the end ! Looks really neat though, so I've decided to make a nice shiny new frame to fit it to ! Keeps me out of mischief ............(did I say 'mischief', I meant 'the house' !)
