First Day Out

So at long last the time of year comes where every ferreter has everything hung up from last season and are itching to go out, well I have had a farmer on at me for a little while now and not to mention the young lad I take out with me nearly everyday now I get when does the season start again and the endless replies as soon ? well I have decided to have a little nosey around next Sunday morning as the youngens have fleed the nest by the looks of things and I was just wondering if anyone has been out yet would be nice to know how you got on, all the best for the season everyone and happy ferreting to you all.

still a bit early, i hate digging to ferrerts better when nettles have died back and there,s not so many young rabbits around , still lots of young around i prefer after the frosts

Had a pre season trip out last week and after a slow start ended up with 22 nice sized rabbits..............
