Tozer 385
I only post on this forum when I am drinking and now is the same.... But, I have no problem with religion in theory. A lot of people find community and comfort in it, I am personally an atheist and feel most people are c*nts But I have a massive problem when they start saying evolution isn't real, the simple fact is the can't comprehend the time scales involved and the small changes it takes. The pope himself has said he does not denounce evolution, I wouldn't say there isn't a 'god' behind the beginning because there isn't proof there isn't. In it's best form religion brings communities together, gives people hope when facing death. At it's worst it is a tax on the poor, is used to justify genocide and keeps the masses in check i also have problems with religion that makes the devil more real than god. mushroom 12,915
Frazzled catagorically there never has been a worldwide flood there is absolutely no layer of sedement to support the absurd notion. Just as mental as your feckin water surrounding the upper atmosphere idea. Ya full of shiit and you can spout all you want but the fact remains that the stories you hold so dear originally didn't even feature your god and are much older than the bloody book you love so much Jesus Christ I wetting myself here

kevin kiely 66
for whoever believes in him shall have eternal life Forgive me for being nosey Kev but with your nose bleed needing to pray tales and this above i felt compelled to ask if you're frightened of dieing...you're begining to sound all vestal virgins. Finding god is also a good way of leaving behind your natural character, which is handy for folk who dont actually like themsi i had to go training there for a while.it waswnt my nose bleeding it was the scientist/astronomer/atheist who needed help no i really like who i am its nothing to do with that, the talk about the lion reminded me of the thousands of early christians who were fed to the lions in the colleseum by the romans who would not denounce the lord
