paulus 26 Posted November 17, 2014 Report Share Posted November 17, 2014 ,whats the meaning of life why does there have to be a meaning? if you believe there has to be a meaning then religion becomes the obvious choice to fill that void, as i suggested earlier maybe its a way of coping with a fact that would otherwise be hard to accept !! your posts are going in the direction that your faith is the only true faith and all the other religions are inferior. this will take Christianity back down the road that it travelled before, indeed a road that Islam is already going down with ISIS. beliefs are personal to the individuals,faith is pretty much decided by family and graphical location. And islam is the fastest growing faith mate, christianity is dying a death, the church is selling its empty churches and chapels to the muslims over here, and they turn them into mosques. Its down to muslim birth rates and immigration mainly, but its true. It's the "life has no meaning and beauty if there is no god". There's no logical argument behind it just that you prefer the world with a god to one without. Just like I might not be able to truly understand why people like you feel there is a god, you cannot understand the beauty I see in a godless Universe. The Universe without god leaves you feeling very uncomfortable and unhappy and whether you like it or not there are plenty of people who don't suffer from that and actually find it even more inspiring and incredible.
