Heres a question an answer, im came across.

). Getting into heaven is not based on whether our good outweighs our bad; we will all lose out if that is the case. "And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace" (Romans 11:6

). We can do nothing good to earn our way to heaven (Titus 3:5

).

 

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it" (Matthew 7:13

). Even if everyone else is living a life of sin in a culture where trusting in God is not popular, God will not excuse it. "As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient" (Ephesians 2:1-2

).

Wilf I wrote out my answer to you, an it was a bit long, but my battery, died, an lost it.

 

I thought I was a beleiver, for years, I had a mental acceptance of God an jesus, but not in my heart, sinning away, until, brought on by myself, had a run in with satan.

 

When I was researching,all sorts of shite, then I came to aliens, then thats when the unpleasantness started in my house, being haunted is a scary fooking thing, if you dont know what your dealing with, now in the middle of this, everything was pointing to the bible as truth, but I ignored it, until I came across, the scripture, about jesus casting out demons, so I went threw the evidence for the bible, an it all made sense, meanwhile still shitting myself, an no end in sight, I bought a bible, going threw again, an found the scripture as above, so I got down on my face, an emotionally asked the lord to forgive my sins, an come into my heart an help me, then I got up an with bible in hand, commaned the (ghosts) to leave my house, in jesus name, an that was it, my confirmation, had happened.

 

My point is that I thought I was right with God, but I wasnt, cause I didnt truly beleive, an repent, an didnt read his manual, the bible, for my own protection

 

How are you supposed to know, what God wants if you dont obey, an read his word.

What you said above about satan, how do you know this, if you dont read the scripture, then were you getting this from.

You cant pick an choose, when you feel like it, not once did you back me up on this thread, about the bible, so were you getting your info from.

 

 

Now that im in the word, an repenting, turning away from sin its incredible, I cant put it in words.

 

Satan beleives in jesus, but he aint getting into heaven, the bible is their for are protection, an to find out what God wants, from us an how to get to heaven.

Christians are scoffing at the bible an it saddens me, that they do this, but its the work of satan, so ill just keep praying, for myself my family an, every man woman an child on this earth, God bless

Fraz mate, I really don't see how anybody can back you up more than by saying "I also believe " which I think you will find I have done all the way through this thread.

 

Lots of people have looked evil in the eye, been close enough to touch it and smell it's breath on their neck know what I mean.......some did it a very long time ago pal

 

You have your way of faith, that's fine by me but I have an opinion on your way same as you do on mine.

You can read as much scripture as you like and I have and do read my share when my heart tells me to but god don't dwell in a book, he dwells in hearts.

 

All I would ever say to lads like you is, ease up on people and ease up in yourself........the only man who had to bare a cross was Jesus so that we don't have to
