When I was a child I prayed to god and asked for a bike, but I knew god didn't work that way so I stole one and asked for forgiveness instead ?.

I will clearly state that my belief is that God does NOT exist. However, you can't prove that something doesn't exist, so if your telling me that I'm wrong, then I'm going to need some proof. Proof th

I've had a google and they reckon it's about 5000 pairs. What I can't understand if God was so powerful, powerful enough that he can make the world, he could do all these amazing things. He summons a

i cant see how the fact that some scientists are christians proves or disproves anything.

a couple of questions which the lists raise for me, please

firstly, if i find a muslim who is a scientist, does that prove the existence of allah? or a buddhist? if not, then why are they different to christians, in terms of the evidence provided by somebodies personal belief?

secondly, millions of christians believe in science, in fact to go one step further they see the absolute proof of science evry time they turn on a light, or get in a car or visit a doctor. so does the fact that many christians believe in sience therefore disprove the creation theory?

frazdog, are these the christian scientists you mean? http://christianscience.com/what-is-christian-science

thank you!

Ok fraz i will look at a few of your mans seminars and will watch and listen with an open mind, if you do the same and look up " erich von daniken" and read what he has to say, ;)

I have asked 3 times yet have been completely ignored. That tells me they do not wish to talk about the possibility that he may be right with his theory?

If I am honest, out of all the theories, his would explain a lot of anomalies in both creationists and evolutionist theories.

Thats because its there way or the highway, their faith is that strong it won't let them contemplate anything else other than creationism. Its an admireable trait but I suppose thats what faith, they have an unwavering certainty.

Ah come on shepp, don't be unreasonable man, let me try something similar. .

1. Abandon your own individual beliefs, just go with the view of most.

2. Don't do your own research, just take others word for it.

3. Develop a false sense of security, after all, so many others believe it, they can't all be wrong?

4. Ridicule those in the minority because they're unpopular and oppose your own ideas.

To participate in an active debate you can't just make a statement without expanding on it, you have to explain why, what, where and when.

We simply believe in creationism because we believe the world and everything in it was created, it has a creator. We don't accept that we are just bald apes because we know that we are made in Gods own image, in His likeness, able to comprehend good and evil, aware of our own consciousness and sense of existence, past, present and future, born with a moral conscience, innately knowing right and wrong. .

We have a foundation to say that rape, murder and abuse is wrong, because God said its was wrong, to defile and dishonour the life of another person is infringement of their will and violation of Gods will. . We must essentially remember that we are what we believe, if you think you're a bald ape, I think your the one with a mental issue.
