How Time Fly,s When Your Given The Run Around.

Got a call from Matt to say he was going out to his perm and if i wanted i could tag along ,now i had arranged to go to one of my perms with Sean(vislauk) so i went to see Sean and asked if he wanted to go with us instead of the farm so a time was set but at the last moment Sean backed out .

 

So i called Toma and we were on our way we got to Matt,s and loaded up his car and we were off when we got to his farm we set about setting the scopes up mine was spot on and so was Matt,s but Tomas was way out and took some time setting them but in the end we got it spot on .

 

Off we went the fields had been cut so it was a lot easy-er to walk through and as we enter,d the second field Matt spotted a hair sitting but it took off as soon as it clocked us so we went down to where the rabbits are feeding at the moment where there were three sitting two took off but a little one just tuned its back on us in defiance so i storked up to 30 yards and sent a jsb on its way and down it went one in the bag.

 

i stayed and lay,ed up and Matt and Toma went off on a Wanda i lay there for what seemed like ages but nothing came back out and as i lay there Matt came back and was walking so quietly that when he got up to me i jumped out of my skin as i did not hear him come back

a few choice words later and we were off back to the car for a bite to eat .

 

By the time we had got back to shooting the light was fading so Matt and Toma headed off to get some pigeons before the light went and i layed up again a little while later and i herd some thing behind me (all ways the same your lying one way and some thing hops out the other way) it was a bloody big hair and off it went but did not run far so off i went now this field is long and i mean long .

 

Its that long its got its own horizon i storked up to with in range and let one go but missed and off it took mind these things can run the light was nearly gone you no when its not dark enough to use the lamp but you still cant see through the scopes so i sat back for a bit and then off i went i scanned the field with my lamp and lit up the hairs eye bright red .

 

It ended up with me taking three shots at this bloody thing and missing it every time it was as if it was laughing at me in the end i had walked all the way round this field twice trying to get it i was fecked and i mean fecked so i just gave it a wave and turned my back on it and headed back to the car .

 

Now i must say i don't usually shoot the hairs but the farmer wants them shot as the poachers with dogs are coursing so much damage he wants rid im not having a dig at the dog lads but its his words not mine (my son has hunting dogs) but i will say one thing

 

I WISH I HAD , HAD A BLOODY DOG WITH ME AS THAT ONE WOULD BE IN THE BAG

 

when i saw Matt and Toma , matt had one rabbit and four pigeons matt had shot the rabbit and three pigeons and Toma got the other one Matt will probably put his hunt in later as i was not with him when he got his, we had got to the perm for about 9ish and we headed home at about 4ish how time fly,s when your given the run around .

Maybe you should asking risingfriend if you could borrow his dogs and maybe get them to pull you round the perm on some sort of sledge come buggy
