I wouldn't mind one meself.I can't get a link as I use the app, but it's sold by 'bgood2010' £7.99 for the torch. 5 modes and small, the larger non zoomable ones light up the whole field. And the battery charger are about £14 with 4 18650 batteries. Can't remember where I got mine just make sure it's a uk seller cos there's loads of fake shite from china edited to add- hold the switch down for 5seconds to keep it on the same mode Edited August 13, 2014 by connerdaboss Quote Link to post

connerdaboss 20
Oil Ultrafire 1600lm cree zoomable. About 20 quid with charger + batteries Does this actually work on rabbits? What the battery life like? Seems to good to be true... I can't compare it to a lamp as I haven't seen on in use, but it's more then capable to light up a rabbit (bit of light around it, but doesn't light up the field). MUCH brighter then regular torches Battery lasts a fair while you need a spare battery or two for a long night out. Overall good for beginners or as a spare, but a lamp would be a better option. Brigzy 1,298
I think "beginners" should get the very best lamping kit they can afford. Two reasons for this; if their kit isn't good enough, they will loose heart and interest when they aren't catching anything, secondly, if they get the bug, the cheap kit will be ditched and they'll go for better gear, and it will end up more expensive than buying the right kit in the first place ! It's a sales ploy. Quote Link to post
gnipper 6,543
Any idea how long a 12amp battery will last with a striker? Quote Link to post
Dewclaw69 484
clulite plr400. rechargeable, no battery to hump about, weighs next to nowt and a 400m beam ( bit on the tight side ) but ideal for rabbits. i'll be using this more than the lazerlite. good results tonight, 2 slips , 2 rabbits http://clulite.cluson.co.uk/led-torches/578-plr-400-pistol-light-rechargeable.html Quote Link to post

If you buy a torch + batteries package for about 20 notes I'd guess the batteries might not be among best you can buy. Some info here on 18650s; http://www.torchythebatteryboy.com/p/18650-batteries-chargers.html?m=1 I've 'upgraded' my batteries & charger (not got them yet) so hopefully they'll make a difference. krawnden 1,036
Gone smaller, this year i will be mostly wearing the clulite clubman. Have you used it yet Buster? If so, are you pleased with it? I bought a pistol grip Clulite last year but ended up returning it as I wasn't that impressed with it. Quote Link to post
