I love the look of the super carbine mate, it's just the major shit issue with BSA is that they don't do a lefty in the model. The R10 I've found is a unique lefty hand version, in mint condition. The other two in my list, fortunately are ambi.

Don't get me started with the manufacturers not catering for the left hand shooters.

Still got problems with the regs ,that's why they get sent of to XTX Air to have a better reg put into them . I had one for about 4 months but found it not to be a very pointable gun ,great of the bi

The KT is a pointable little gun for sure but you can't compare that against the R-10 as it's oal is somewhat different. The full length sporter not quite so pointable but a much better shot count. Ye

I recently purchased my R10 Supercarbine and it has been thus far faultless accurate and a world better than the Springer I had borrowed previously. http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg206/white90

Find yourself a nice mk2 rapid or MFR. I've had an s410 and a hw100 and they just don't compare. Rapids arn't the prettiest guns but they're the most reliable and you arn't constantly sending them away to specialists because there's always someone close that can sort your problem if they get one. They're built to last. My mates got a an r-10 and i wouldn't touch one with a barge pole. I'd never sell my mk2 rapid.

Hi,

I purchased a new Mk 2 R-10 vc.177 last week so far all o.k, shoots spot on 11.8 Ft-Lbs with 8.4 Diablo Fields, the new style mags are really smooth, did have to re tension the mag spring though but cycles fine now & no jam's as yet,Very nice walnut stock gave it 3 coats of walnut oil & it looks fantastic now.I was thinking about having the barrel shortened & a shroud fitted but it's shooting so good, think i will leave well alone for time being don't want to upset the apple cart.

Time will tell i suppose regarding any faults,at the moment i'm very pleased i took the plunge :boogy::bye: .

If its shooting 11.8 with fields ,then with jsb heavies 10.3gr it will be over the 12 FT/LB !!

And why might that be? Everyone's got 100's man. A good and a bad thing I think.

if honest mate, it's hard to explain until you've owned both R10 and the hw100. I felt that the r10 just felt a bit "plasticky" in the hand and a bit delicate. Whereas the hw100 feels more "real" and just feels more well made.

Get a BSA SuperTen, tried and tester, heavy and reliable.

Now this mixes it up a bit...

We all have our opinions. I need to get my arse out (when I feel I need a PCP again) and try them both.

As an edit, a superten will be :) it's the fancy R10 we're on about.
