Country Covers?

Been looking at getting a smock...was originally going for the ridgeline pintail smock but after reading reviews ect on here and speaking to a member who bought the ridgeline via pm and him not giving a very good review I'm looking at the country covers field smock...for the same price range are the country covers smock the one to get?

Country cover stuff is good gear ive a few smock of them lightweights one to a real sub zero job it needs to be -20 before you wear its good gear

Ive got the Olive green stalking smock, very well made but i dont like the shoulder patches because my gun stock slides of it too easy.

Plenty of pockets. But not warm or waterproof, You can buy the waterproof liner but for over £200 i feel it should be waterproof.

Would i buy it again ?. No. Although its a tough material when you hold it up to the light you can see through it.

I only use it for summer.

The one in the link states that it is waterproof?...or is the stalking one a different smock?

I dont know to be honest. Must be a different one as the chap wanted to sell me a liner.
