Matt 160
A mate of mine had one as a pet. It stank. Eventually it turned into a neurotic mess and had to go.
budharley 945
How long did yous have the Fox and how did the story end ? Hopefully with yous a long time and a happy ending. I'm afraid no happy ending she was hit by a car on the lane near our house in her second winter .my dad was about to build her a huge enclosure on the ten acre small holding we have ,she had a biggish pen in the garden at the time . like I said to Ross I wouldn't do it again the thing is they start roaming if not penned in . at night my dad would let her out while he had his beer by the log fire in the garden she would disapear for a while then come back . I warned hIm to leave her penned up until the big pen was built as people had seen her up to maybe 3-5 hundred metres from our home which isn't a lot but is enough for her to get into trouble . I rang my dad one night and my mum answered said he just in kitchen some one just brought lulu back dead they thought she was a cat so stopped and realised she had a coller on with her address on but I think they hit her tbh . I honestly can't remember her smelling there is no way on this earth my mum would of allowed her to stay if she stank No, it was a vixen called 'Sam Fox' (you have to be over 40 to understand that one). I can assure you it stank to high heaven. Not a pet I would want but I can understand why people do keep them. In this case, (from memory) the mate concerned had a row with his mum before he went to work. That day, they were out fox driving and digging, and dug out a litter of cubs. One was put into his pocket to take home as a bit of a joke, and also an apology, and amazingly they managed to rear it. I can also remember the chaos when the hounds came near....
