celticrusader 78
Lovely dan..very nice, thought you said you were going for a synthetic. Not worrying about a mod are you mate? Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
Could'nt pass up this rifle straight swap for my hmr and it's brand new, Going to get it threaded eventually and then a reflex mod. Shot a few rounds before with open sights and it's real nice to shoot and not lot of recoil at least alot less than i expected. Quote Link to post
celticrusader 78
That's good news as my.243 had more of a kick than realised...not enough to worry about but gives off enough shake to make keeping an eye on the target a bugger once the round is fired. That said mate keep us posted how things perform. Quote Link to post
shropshire dan 467
Thanks will do. Going out friday to set the scope up and practice then maybe stay on into the night and see if I can bag a close range charlie. Quote Link to post
celticrusader 78
Yeh tryed exactly that last night...didn't count on almost everywhere still being over grown and unshootable...well until the farmer cuts the barley and the rest of his crops. Different farmers work at different times I guess, probably another couple of weeks before I go back down to his land and I'm working til next monday now but hopefully i'll get down the range next wednesday anyway. shropshire dan 467
Happy days mate. The land im planning on foxing and zeroing is great its all been cut and also has a 30ft hill in the middle of the field so its a perfect vantage point. Quote Link to post
