Any One Take There Dog To Have A Proper Check Up Before The Season Begins ?

Recommended Posts

As above it's my pups first proper season he is a full on live wire in the garden if excited he is full pelt and just cocking about in general I've seen him take a few knocks nothing too bad all taken in his stride I just wonderd if it's worth getting him a general check over before the season starts I do know my dog and don't think he is carrying any injuries but while out for evening walks with my dads dog and others it's hard to tell by watching him as he paces himself for example if he's out with my dads jackX patterdale he only jogs if he's out with my mates collie he runs as fast as that no more so I can't see him actually open up across a field and see if there's any differences in his running so just wondering if any of you lot take your dogs to a working dog vet for a general check up ? Also is there any good places in the southwest or as close as poss anyone would recommend thanks in advace

yes you have a good point there kemperz 21 get your dog checked out bye a good working dog vet wont cost any more than a few bags of dog nuts, and all the more reason to get them checked out is if you pay good money for 1 because there real owner has all ready got them checked out and knows that the dog or bitch has a reoccurring problem because they dont care when they get your money in there pocket.

If it eases your mind, do it

Personally if I don't see any problems, I save my dollar for when they need it.

Spot on Lee,

As a green youngster, like any kid, they take the knocks and bumps of growing up in their stride... Don't go looking for problems, they'll come enough with good graft...
