I'm getting there fired hundreds of shots target practice still a little wobbly but getting much better after learning to aim and shoot properly ;-) one question should a body shot on a woody at about 10/15yds 9.5mm s/steel bb knock it over ? It was a chest shot just got a plume of feathers and my boy laughing at me all that way back to the car lol :-(

Thing with woodies is mate, there breast bone is solid!! If using 9.5's ideally go for headshot. If body shooting them then try 12mm steel, it packs way more of a punch and normally takes them down no problem. Another good ammo is M10 hexnuts. Can be bought pretty cheaply and are pretty devastating up to about 12 meters, they tend to swerve any distance after that.

But keep at it mate, you'll be filling the freezer in no time ;-)

9.5 steels to the crop is my preffered aim point on a pigeon, if you got to a wilkos shop in the diy section there's s pick and mix stand of different screws and nails and bolts. For three pound you get a large bag and you can fill it as much as you want, so fill it with the large nuts they have, you should get around 400 for £3

If I had a mould I'd make my own lead ones as I make my own leads for fishing I'll have to try and find one think I'm going to go with hex nuts an see how I get on think id struggle with head shots at the mo ;-) more practice needed for that
