mattybugeye 884
Just picked up a Mk2 bsa s10 today been messing firing few shots in garden and it's a git to cock you have to really pull (I mean rag the hell out of it) on the bolt until you hear a click then down then back forward if not it locks the trigger then you need to remove mag so not to double load surley it's not normal to have to pull it so hard anyone had this issue? Is there any adjustments can made on bolt feel like I'm going to snap the bugger Apart from this its cracker the previous owner used h&n ft but I tried aa field today sprayed 1st 20 shots then settled down guessing was leading up its single holeing now and pretty consistent. Also seen as asking questions what's best fill empty procedure with bottle ? Not to blow seals As has to be removed every time unlike my old r 10 with quick fill . Cheers Edited August 3, 2014 by mattybugeye Quote Link to post
gurtwurz 792
Give the bottle a quater turn, then fire off a few shots, repeat until the gun sounds airless. You'll pop the seals if you just remove it without emptying the pressure in the gun first. Quote Link to post

No hissing from anywhere after filling I'm confused Quote Link to post
mattybugeye 884
All sorted well chuffed I bought a new cocking oversize ball bolt fit it and cycles spot on every time now without fail! Fit a new seal on bottle with tiny bit of grease and cured that fault too job well done I'd say Still going to remove bottle when not using as read on few forums it prolongs seal life Quote Link to post
Guest OutdoorFanatic
They're Great guns i still need to get one myself Quote Link to post
moxy 617
Mine started to chew bottle orings for no reason and found that every now and again the bottle would lock up tight. I ran a tap and die through in and over the threads and couldn't locate any burrs!? So I now keep the threads and orings lubed. I have never had any other problems. It shoots spot on and it's never been fannied or farted about with and still as consistent as the day I got it. (12yrs ago) Brilliant little guns. Quote Link to post
mattybugeye 884
Yea they cracking rifles a lot happier now I'm thinking of putting it on Fac but going to use it for few months before going for it as no going back Had a hour earlier and unsure AA field the pellet for the gun what you using Moxy? Is yours sub 12 or on ticket? IL put a pic of new bolt fitted up soon In 2 minds either re finish stock or go bigmac97kt style and paint it black??? Tiz bit battered up but salvageable for refinish 1 Quote Link to post
moxy 617
Sub 12 mate. But it's a real fussy fecker when it comes to pellets. It doesent fair too bad with AAF but prefers accupels. I have never tried one on FAC but the shot count wouldn't be great and you would maybe need to change the barrel. Quote Link to post
