armdog 196
went on my usual evening walk , my 5 month collie grey pup and old border were ahead on the path , its a fenced in section about 10 foot wide with river swale at 1 side, they put the rabbit out of cover and it came straight towards me and my 7 year old step daughter, i tried to hit it with my stick but missed, she tried with her sword( she was being a roman centurian today ) the pup sailed through our respective blows and nailed it about 3 foot from me , well happy its her 2nd rabbit and its about 3/4 grown so a lot bigger than her first, we walked on happy with our trophy when we came to a part where there is no fence and the dogs can run in the field, she put up a 1/2 grown rabbit and a straight line run at it and caught it as it slowed to enter the stone wall, i really am over the moon with this dog , im not looking for rabbits with her but she keeps finding them, sorry no pics , but step daughter carried little one all way home chattering away about eating our catch 3 Quote Link to post
