Hi just wondering whats the deepest you've dug to a ferret?

Years back mate and I dug a ferking great hole and still had to lower his son by the ankles to grab the rabbit...

 

Dug three feet in sand on Sunday then sent the dog in to dig the rest.. wish I had the camera

dug a couple of hole about 4 foot but once a dug a ferret out at 6 foot and it took ages to dug that hole but there was no way i was losing a ferret with a collar

my mate dug 4 foot with a "fence post" to his ferret lol...

i had three digs today one at 1 foot / then 1 at 3 foot also another at 4 foot it took the piss as ferret killed and kept dragging it about i had to trensh for f*****g ages

Seven foot last winter had to stage it to get down to get the jill and a rabbit , we passed by the same place on sunday at 2pm and i thought no leave that bit for a early start .

I had a 6ft dig in sand a few years ago and when i eventually got there, there were 4 rabbits in a stop end. I was so knackered I called it a day

8ft is the deepest we have dug, that was 3 year ago. Had the locator at 8ft to track the ferret, turned it down at it disappeared (sp) lol, Got the rabbit though

I dug 37 feet using my flask top through solid granite but got 68 in a block end. Sorry lads it was just the way this thing looked to be heading.
