teddog 59
how about a whole green tripe in the winter, hang it somewhere cool and dry(shed, barn or similar) hack off what you want each night to feed your dogs.whole, fresh green tripe weighs about 8-12kgs and down this way sell's for £3.nothing easier than that. my hounds 309
Anyone remember vitalin or homedale dog, needed milk and a spoon to go with that more corn flakes than owt else Yep i remember "Vitalin" and "Triple feed"(which had dehydrated meat in the mix) both dry feeds as i recall needed to be soaked in some water for a few hours to allow it to swell up before it was recommended to be given to the dogs, that was back in the mid 1970,s the local greyhound folk thought it was the bees knees at that time,so looking back they were probably the inovative feeds to what we have today

Bosun11 537
school canteen bins was good feeding just trow dog into bin an trail it back out when it was full. an fish on a Friday Me Mam worked as a school dinner lady for years and my dogs looked bloody good on it... As for a good complete, the best i've found is the stuff that Lidl sells, called Orlando and though I do use mince about 4/5 days a week, it's the nearest to feeding barf i've ever found...
