dytkos 17,802 Posted December 6, 2007 Report Share Posted December 6, 2007 just been watching the news, apparently there has been a fish caught on the river ness, measured and released and the mesurements along with some pictures have been sent to a lab to be checked to see if its beats the long standing record held by Geogina Ballantyne since 1922 of 64lb ! fingers crossed ! fireman 10,927 Posted December 10, 2007 Report Share Posted December 10, 2007 Seen some big fish in the avon in salisbury years ago.one of my mates shot another mate through the foot with a harpoon gun right next to the old hospital whilst trying for a sizable fish,he didn't have far to hobble they were stood under the road bridge for hours as well.Used to be a bit of a run every year now thinking about it,never took to much notic then.
