Ricky-N.p.p 0
just been watching the news, apparently there has been a fish caught on the river ness, measured and released and the mesurements along with some pictures have been sent to a lab to be checked to see if its beats the long standing record held by Geogina Ballantyne since 1922 of 64lb ! fingers crossed ! Dubai expat 0
Hi Hill Loch, Been watching this space, so the fish was caught on the Dochfour section of the Ness? I had thought it was on the association water, who landed it? young Grant the new head Gillie after Robin retired? Being 3,500 miles away from my old catchment area makes it difficult to keep up to date on the home front, any ifo pictures would be appreciated. Cheers the noo, Alex Quote Link to post
tote 854
There is an "exclusive" in this months Trout and Salmon magazine. The fish it seems was nowhere near as big as was touted about. Those present at it's capture agreed that it would have weighed between 40-50lb.Still a big salmon though but well short of the record.
