what size weight were the labs mate ?

I say being honest mate this  were most show  types, big feckin head,  and knocking 70 lb at guess. Know when I done 5 years beating, most labs there either  beating,  or with the guns were well behaved  not nasty, and I say not big/heavy  as them fookers  that kicked off on Buck. And reason being them owners  would  be on top of them all while deff, so it training  and breeding 100%   mate 👍

Had an accidental mating to a whippet greyhound with him. She was an unreal little bitch only fault was that she lacked 5th gear

and some dogs are a liability in anyone’s hands lol

Any dog can be a liability no doubt but if you get a highly strung animal and vent it's drive in to human aggression you have a recipe for disaster. Speaking of the American Staff, why on earth would anyone want to import one of those to use for breeding lurchers when there's already tried & tested dogs already here. You'd be better off breeding from a proven bull cross lurcher.

True mate, plenty of good proven bulldogs  out there.prob be hard getting to use them if your not in with the right people. Alot good game  bulldogs are in Russia  , check Republic. So there,  few good ones here,   regards lurcher use  anybody guess?

There’s a big white one up here with Merle patches, I asked the woman walking it an she told me it was a staff cross, then a week later I was talking to her husband with the same dog am he happened to mention to me it was a catahoula leopard dog 🤦‍♂️🤣  so either one them are lying or somebody has had there pants down

Nope mate, not no more!!

I've never liked them. We had one near my place who would constantly come into the yard to try and kill my chickens until one day when I was out my pit cross staff  got off her chain in the yard when the lab jumped in. When I got home it looked like the now dead lab had been machine gunned there were that many puncture wounds in it.
