My pup was the same till about a month a go..even ran all the way home when a little hand bag dog barked at her pmsl...took he to the local park to build her convedence up and all come good...stil a bit timid but she's still young

Bull x type lurchers have been ruined by nuggets wanting a dog with a certain character and the image it portrays.9 months old and your allready having doubts about the dogs lack of character and loss of cudos?.The same dog at 2 years of age may better portray the kind of character you wish for,id personally prefer a more quiet and laid back jukel,until the time arises,in the field,when it needs to show its mettle.

My old dog never turned on a dog even when proper challenged and he had bull beddy and wheaton in him but he wasn't afraid of anything else. I'd rather a dog like that than one that stands it's ground and gets in scraps all the time.
