Ferreting with the old cripples

Havent been ferreting for a long time, so today was a wee change. The dogs marked well, although the old fella kept going into his mad obsessional collie mode where he carries on marking the hole after all the rabbits have lifted I think a wee switch gets flicked in his head when he is ferreting, dont think I will bother taking him again as he was very sore and stiff when we came home - anyway heres some pics of our little outing :

good bag there mate and two fine looking dogs,clever looking dogs,look very similair to my old mate,are they 3/4 bred or 1/2 crosses

thanks, they are both collie/grey bred over quite a few generations, pretty much half and half.

Bit sad to see faithfull workers getting old.Good to get them out and about occasionaly just to relive past adventures.
