Philisophically speaking the concepts of right and wrong are man made, they are subjective and depend on the individual. Quick answer, I decide what's right and wrong. MickC 1,825
Hemp has a multitude of uses and it is bio degrable and with no harm to the enviroment/planet. A few of the things that spring to mind is Paper which has us cutting down lots of trees but by using the alternative in hemp no trees are needed to be cut down and also Paper from Hemp is a better quality and doesnt "Yellow" over time. Another thing is a variety of plastics can be made from Hemp and all these products are bio degradable unlike the plastics made from the Petro chemicals industry which cause a lot of harm to make and are also not biodegradable. Then there is the medcal benefits to be had from smoking it ( mostly untaxable so it is banned) Like people have already pointed out more money can be made from using alternatives to Hemp than actually using the real thing which is also a lot safer product .
paulus 26
all these benefits sound very good but at a guess most only smoke it to get a kick the same as most other drugs,

Had very little to do with the drug aspect Ironic really, the country driving the worldwide prohibition of cannibis is starting to rethink its domestic strategy on a state by state basis.. None really, it's a natural progression of the conversation though IMO. It's not as if we've suddenly started talking about the darts or something is it?
treecreeper 1,136
If they were so bothered about it funding organised crime which is their biggest moan about it as far as I can see, they could legalise it so you could grow a small number of plants for personal use they would cut the crime and money overnight, well maybe 10 weeks I did some charity stuff for MS when I was at college quite a few of them said it helped, whether they just wanted to get wrecked or not im not sure. cant see it curing anything by smoking it but its nasty shit ms and if puffing a j helps ease the suffering why not.
