for sale due to no fault of her own is my minature jack russel bitch she is nearlly 9 weeks old i paid £200 for her she is toilet trained to puppy pads, pure white with very very slight dark markings on her ears so looks like she will have black ears, very lively game little girl already starting to respond to her name (ELLA) her sire was an excellent worker from scotland 15 inch tts and the dam was a young bitch un-proven but still game non the less and she was approx 10/11 inch tts so the bitch should make 10-12 inch due to being the runt of the litter.

 

the only reason for sale is due to my 5 month old bull greyhound taking a disliking to her so unfortunately she has to be the one to go

 

will take any sensible offer or swap for working terrier or lurcher bitch to help bring on my bull pup

 

I am in the north east england/between sunderland and newcastle in great lumley co durham

just advice mate as your add has confused me somewhat. the facts, youve had the dog under a week, you ask for advice on the basics (so under your own admition dont know very much about terriers) which was given, and in your origianl post you say "i was offered it so i took it"

 

so the bit i have trouble with, now its worth £200 (which im affraid it aint) or worth a working dog (which im affraid it definatly isnt)

 

not trying to give you a hard time mate (not my style)but it seems very harsh on the poor pup, unless you are a very experienced dogman it would be difficult to say that your bullX dislikes this dog, socialising and "pack work" are key in any homes where dogs are present, perhaps this may solve your problem. theres is nothing to say the next terrier you are clearly after will be disliked too, and then that gets rid of, and you wouldnt want to see that happen would you.......

 

i have several dogs a year come and go some older some pups, some have problems some dont, i dont keep the bad ones true, but i dont get rid of them in just a week for tempremnet issuses, its just not good kennel managment.

 

i think persivernce may be the way here mate, it may end up your best dog, and you dont learn by just giving up.

if anythging from experience the jrt would be the one trying to bully even at that young age i have a bitch of the same age and she is giving my american bulldogs and whippet and older jrt alot of crap ! dont see why you would ask advice then sell ... if you were going to seel why ask advice in the first place and i wouldnt say she was worth anymore than half that my bitch has papers and both parents are dug to regularly and have been for 4 years i was given her from a mate and the rest sold at £100 doe's that make her worth £350 since she is a paperd bitch and both parents could have any trial any time ? ( she is not for sale ! just a pointbeing made.)

WHat with the minature russell, 5/8 3/8's about the right age and the right geographical location,not to mention the joining date.... Like i said i dont intend to souund mean,just a few coincidences
