Guest Dillon
Weather was shit yesterday morning with that sort of shitty drizzle thats wets you through in a matter of mins, I had a look out local with Garf a mate from work really just to give the dogs a spin through a few earths. We checked a tip bordering a golf course which I was sure would be holding cubs for my yearling Lakey Kane, he has been going to ground for a few months now, and has also hunted foxes up out of cover, he is one of those dogs that needs to slow down and take stock, (bit nutty if ya know what I mean, kill crazy as Garf puts it) There was plenty of scent around the various tips but naff all to ground, nettles everywhere. We moved on to chance an earth on a spot of land we are barred from, Molly was hunting the edge for a good 200yds when she dropped in between some bits of old rotten big bales and reinforced concrete,Garf pulled Kane up just before he realised where the bitch had gone. I am still kicking myself that if I had her on a lead he would have dropped in,but I aint having two in so with the amount of noise he was making Garf had to take him back to the motor. I found her at about a foot and a half, going strong and mixing it quite a bit. When I broke through she was locked on and I eventually drew a very nasty vixen which we let run for another day. Roll on the frost. Photo is a bit shitty as I took it on my phone Quote Link to post
