I posted a month or so back about my lurcher pup had a bald patch appear, well the hair has just started to grow back on there but whilst stripping some hair out of her a min ago I noticed she has like scabby/dead crusty skin you can scratch off under her coat and also a lump on her lower neck like a large spot...?? She seems fine but I can't get my head around it, gonna have to take her to vets I think.

I reply to both of you I suppose it could be, I'm going to take a trip to vets see what they say, her coat just doesn't seem great either, quite dull and wirey. Someone said it maybe down to too much protein so I moved her off raw and onto gain 20 for last couple weeks but don't seem to be making much difference

People who say that feeding raw gives a dog too much protein forget that there is a high water content in all raw meat etc. An unbalanced raw diet (red meat only for example) is indeed not good for a dog as it will lack in essential vitamins and minerals not to mention fibre. But a well-balanced raw diet which includes a variety of meats/bone/offal, with vegetables and a bit of carbs in the form of brown bread or rice, is far better than any commercially made food which contains no end of artificial ingredients.

When ticks fall off or are scratched off by the dog, they often lead a small raw patch which can easily get infected, especially if the tick has regurgitated the contents of its stomach into the dog when it was disturbed/killed. This often forms a crusty lump, which should in time heal up OK so long as the dog's immune system is fine.

There are any number of minor skin infections that can cause the lumps you mention.
