britdog 15 Posted July 19, 2014 Report Share Posted July 19, 2014 Hi guys ive got 500 acres of arable land with hedgrow all round and 4 hedgrows dividing each feild with a couple of small spinneys lots of rabbits and hare's around thinking of putting feeders out and some partridges down how many would you suggest per 100 acres cheers thanks for reading Quote Link to post

Iam not going to run a shoot on there just me and couple of freinds working our hpr dogs so we may get away with a few less Quote Link to post
willum 89 Posted July 19, 2014 Report Share Posted July 19, 2014 Be prepared to put leg work as those little buggers like to walk bud try hand feeding at night few days before you shoot to draw the birds in and shut off the hoppers the night before you shoot and don't hand feed that night either the birds should be there scratching about for feed then after the drive go and open hoppers up again .
