Not said owt till now. So here's my tuppence worth for what good it's worth. Folk ask to be deleted. Why the long drawn out affair?? Or the condescending replies from some Mod's?? yup there's some wan

Probably the only comment from me on the whole affair   I can understand why Ian did what he did. He owns the site, and as such has a responsibility for it`s content (to an extent). The advertiser

Here's the way I look at it ..................No one is holding a gun to my head to come on so If i don't want to come on then I won't.   I've never be to a pub and asked a landlord to ban me.......

seen all the crap that has gone on recently, don`t really see what the problem was, has there been any threat of legal action over posts made to the site owner, is there that much money to be made from advertisers that the threat of them withdrawing support makes that much difference, god knows, I don`t care, but what makes this place different to me now is the craic has gone, too many bitching posts (and this is another one) ok this is supposed to be a hunting forum in all its shapes and forms but there has to be a bit of banter, the x-mas panto thread for me is hilarious but as most of the contributors are now banned/running scared then I think that it is no more, as for all the `ban me` sheite, just do it, takes far less effort to do that than post god knows how many posts saying don`t log in :whistling:

Are any of the mods dissapointed they have either been asked by a member to be removed or you have been forced in some Sence to ban a particular member /'s ?? Because after looking at some / most of them did contribute to the site which shows in their post counts and the likes wer pretty high

I can only speak for myself, but I've been shocked and disappointed at the behaviour of a few

Members I respected, and who's posts I once enjoyed reading have left no alternative at times

Some people seem to rate their on-line notoriety as being more important than what is considered normal, sensible behaviour in off line society

Have we ( I ) always got it right? Probably not.

Is anyone that's been genuinely banned deserve another chance? Probably not.

after getting a pm of matt about something i put which was out of order on my behalf i asked most of questions on this thread but in a more blunter way instead of banning/warning points etc all my questions were answered and explained which he didnt need to do and fair play to him doing so but we kept it to pm whether you dislike the man or not spreading shite about rspca etc is bang out of order saying shite like that and then other things get added and that can follow a man round for a very long time all for being a mod is just wrong its only a forum log on or leave and come back later or not at all

No wonder the world is totally f*cked if all people have to occupy their heads is to moan about how to run a forum. I don't post on these threads as a rule, but to see 6 pages of bitching and whining about forum membership is unbelievable. Personally, I blame the internet :tongue2:

Sad thing is, user anonymity creates monsters in some form or another, and whilst calling names may never physically harm you, the fallout from internet 'playground' slanging matches can and does have repercussions in real life. Why can't people have manners on line the same as they would (hopefully) do in real life?

Humanity (now there's a misnomer if ever there was one) has one hell of a lot of growing up to do before people can behave like adults in cyber space. Having said that, as the world is f*cked anyway, and people can't treat each other with respect in real life, what's the point?
