mon now fella matt gets the top whacker every christmas doo , hes the terminator mod

You see, I have this undeserved reputation for being 'Mr Ban', but whenever I challenge anyone to tell me who I've banned that I shouldn't have, I get nowt but silence?

its being guilty by association, everybody associates you with being the hunting life pierepoint so you could be seen as guilty for being the executioner.

Whatever

Again, you have failed to provide one single example

Not the executioner but deffo the most anal mod  and often wondered if it's missionary only for you you so straight at times Matt.:laugh:

These days a 'missionary' is a dream and 100 miles away

Anal? Yes, I'll accept that with grace. In fact, I think I described myself as just that only a couple of days ago

Not said owt till now. So here's my tuppence worth for what good it's worth. Folk ask to be deleted. Why the long drawn out affair?? Or the condescending replies from some Mod's?? yup there's some wan

Probably the only comment from me on the whole affair   I can understand why Ian did what he did. He owns the site, and as such has a responsibility for it`s content (to an extent). The advertiser

Here's the way I look at it ..................No one is holding a gun to my head to come on so If i don't want to come on then I won't.   I've never be to a pub and asked a landlord to ban me.......

Your kind of missing my point.....

The " if you don't want to come on, don't log in" arguement is wearing a bit thin now :icon_redface:

If someone wants to be disassociated from the site - for whatever reason, maybe to lose posts, photos, content etc etc that they've put on the past, surely its only fair that the man in charge, - Ian B in this case, does the decent thing and just deletes their account?

None of this martydom/banning shit, just a straight forward, OK, no probs your gone?

I realise that the mods can't do this, they can only push the red button but its not too much too ask, especially as members who have asked to go have to resort to putting up content to get theirselves banned because no one has the common courtesy to just delete their account without any bad feeling.

Cheers, D.

Is that a 'martyr' post?

A simple  or  will do

Eh Viola !

Although I can understand it must be wearing thin now.

They all joining a new site or something?

they all make new sites with a handful of members from here, it lasts a few months an then they all come back due to lack of members.

If you join there sites it's all the same content as this site anyway

I heard this ones got some of the good old members on ands going to be a good one in the future, I might be wrong tho.
You are
hunters United, cur dogs, collie curs , fen an something etc. Etc.

Always the same band, the ones who think they should have power on here or feel the need to boast about what they can on here

So far this week, one moron told everyone on the internet that I'd threatened to report him to the RSPCA, and then admitted that "if you throw enough shit some of it sticks"....

Another has suggested I'm a liar, but wouldn't actually say what I've ever lied about......

And that's before you start thinking about the moron that spent all night phoning me and then advertised an African Grey Parrot for sale for peanuts ( ) on Gumtree, or the idiot that advertised a landrover for sale on Facebook, both of which thought it would be funny to use my phone number...

And while all these sad twats do their worst, I've got antis doing similar things and driving passed what they think is my house posting pictures all over the web

Guys, really and truly, what happens on here is small fry in the big wide world out there.

One thing is certain; those who shout loudest, usually have the least reason to do so

 How much good is this doing the site, in all honesty?

Call me a wannabee martyr if you want, you can't see past the end of your f***ing nose that you seem to stick in everywhere.

Do it which ever way you want, I'm really past caring if you want to be Mr. Self Important all the time, crack on.

Cheers, D.

D, you seem to misunderstand the role of a moderator and the function of a public forum.

You post on a public forum that is monitored and policed by moderators

If you don't like the forum, then there is a simple answer

Running off to the forum that still hasn't even established a name for itself and moaning and whinging about this place, whilst just popping back to post shit stirring rubbish doesn't make you a valued member, no matter how good your historical posts may be

If you have an issue with me personally, then take that to PM and save the decent forum members the embarrassment of reading your tiresome crap

I see the logic in "if you don't want to come be on here, don't log in" however I think most who say that are happy to be a member of this site, there are of course those who don't give a monkeys either way! I'm happy to be member of the UK's biggest and best (as far as I've seen) hunting website, but I think if someone wants there file delated, it should be so. .

When I decide to remove my Facebook account, I would like it removed. I don't really want folk looking through my pages, seeing what I've posted, I can't really explain why, I just don't. . I'm evidently not the only one. . I realise you can't "delate" your FB account, only deactivate, but for all purposes it's as good as. . I don't see the point in hassling mods though, after all it's Mr B' website, until if or when he changes the settings, we either gotta put up or shut up. .

If this was your site and you had 50k+ members, and a small minority hell bent on causing trouble, you'd understand why the owner chooses to do things the way he does
