jwhizz420 177 Posted July 16, 2014 Report Share Posted July 16, 2014 Been trying to get me pup to retrive to hand for 8 months, brings things back but drops them near me not to my hand, last night sat me my arm chair knackered from work, me pup only brings the ball and puts in me hand to throw for him, penny's dropped and every retrieves been to hand, don't know how or why but over the moon 2 Quote Link to post

Dogs sense this and can act accordingly. I got a few good lines and tips of wisdom from Plummer books back in the day, though i can also be his biggest critic but one I remember, is that 'retrieving training MUST always be a game'. I took that as good advice and it's proved itself so to me for the past 30 years, now you know it, see if it does the same? Quote Link to post
