Robo46 40
Hi guys has anyone fitted sling studs to a airwolf . I have heared conflicting opinions as to which ones should be fitted .butt one not a problem but fore end some say a srew in one is ok some say it should go through with a nut on the back . I intend to fit a bipod. Quote Link to post
SimonC_Here 36
I've got 2 airwolf stocks, both with front sling studs. The one that I use all the time I drilled and screwed in myself, the other has a nut/plate on the back and that was from the factory, but I've not used that one, I am going to give it a good oiling, but I've not got around to it yet. 1 Quote Link to post
Robo46 40
I think I might send it in to daystate it will cost about 40 quid .dont mind paying to get it done right , only thing is I think they need it for a couple of weeks . Quote Link to post

Robo46 40
They said that they wouldn't fit them because the stocks fore end can split .i have phoned round a few shops who all said it's basically not worth the hassle .the price they could charge for fitting them isn't worth risking splitting the fore end . SimonC_Here 36
DIY or Daystate then. I put the stud into the bit where it gets thicker just before the filler valve hole. I can't fill with the bipod on, but it's no real hassle to take it off for the infrequent fills. Simon 1 Quote Link to post
