Charity Match....every Little Bit Helps.

Recommended Posts

As most on here are aware we're holding our second annual fishing match for charity, we raised a £1000 last year for Macmillan nurses. We had a great time last year meeting some great people and everything went swimmingly(pun intended lol).

Would be extremely grateful if you have anything to donate for the raffle/auction or you could go to our just giving page and donate anything. https://www.justgiving.com/John-Harris12

This years charity is Make A Wish Foundation UK and I'd like to thank everybody in advance for any donation and look forward to meeting old faces and new again this year.

Thanks again.

John. :victory:

Did a bit of tree trimming for these guys today.   http://www.robertstravelgroup.co.uk/   They gave me £30 So Iv'e donated it towards the Charity. Iv'e put it on the Just Giving page.

I'll be getting some bits from the tackle shop again john.

I'll also donate some prizes donated from my business, which can be raffled or auctioned off.

I'm gonna speak to a few of our suppliers and customers again too... Jewsons donated last year, unfortunately the lad who organised that now works for me lol..

Hopefully we see a bit of togetherness from the THL, this is a nice event and well supported, it flys the THL banner in a positive light!!

Of course it's important the charity's and people coming together matt , iv been waiting all year for this and I feel strongly about thl fishing comp , as I met crac'n guys last year everyone of them , I pay out of my own money 100 pound a year on the banner slave at the cooker for 4 hours watching each clootie cook , I even have a thl Xmas clootie comp , and spend much more on the break away for going to the comp to meet thl members so if you saying that Ian or any body couldn't give a shit about it ,some people feel strongly about and I'm one of them so . We will have great time and make some money for charity , and if thl gets recognised for it it could only be a good thing for our sport ??

Right, I think the best thing to be done is to lock this thread up, clean up some of the non-relevant posts, and then unlock it again.

Now unlocked.

Please keep it on topic
