Sixes32 0
Hi guys Been after a good Bass trip for a while now. Does anyone know of any really good boats around the country. Location is unimportant because will travel and make a trip of it if needs be. Cheers Quote Link to post

Malt 379
I'd say it probably gets better the further south and west you go. Can be good round here buts its hit and miss. Seen a few program's where they're bass fishing off the Channel Islands, that's looks awesome.. Quote Link to post
NEWKID 27,132
Down this way mike baker ( rose-Anne) out of Exmouth does well on the bass. This is wreck fishing though, so deep water and usually live eels or artificials. I'm setting a trip up with Cushtymush later in the summer, I could see what space is available if a few other lads wanted on. There's no guarantees, but he works hard to put you over fish. A couple of trips arranged on a local lads boat fishing for bass and kayaking most days.. Plus trips to sark and herm, I'll definatly have a rod stowed away lol.. Fished Alderney quite a few years back, some cracking sport on turbot on the banks, my brother had the biggest which was 16lb, that's a beast of a flat fish, best I had was around 8lb.. Only a few small bass though.. 2 Quote Link to post
Tiercel 6,986
Pete Nic, has got to be one of the best bass skippers in the country, He knows his ground and has his finger on the pulse, the boats not bad either. I would pick a big tide and he will find you fish. http://www.boatfishingwales.com/ TC Edited July 22, 2014 by tiercel Quote Link to post
NEWKID 27,132
Quite right on the tide TC, that's vital, you need to have it moving fair. Quote Link to post

robbo 828
Yes I will make one for that boat trip mate. Last week in sept. Has a few good tides for a go with the lures, wind and waves permitting, but doesn't matter when you can get over we will have a go somewhere. 1 Quote Link to post
