Tomhill131 25
Hi all just a quickie just acquired 300 acres of permission but the farmer is saying that there's not a lot about , but he only goes there once or twice a week but I'm convinced there should be plenty as its an organic crop farm barley and corn, and there a lots of deer tracks and prints and its in the middle of nowhere . Anyone had any experience with this sort of land, or am I just worrying about nothing? Atb Tom Quote Link to post

snoopdog 1,256
depends on who else vists the land there might not be a lot there ..and if you vist three hundred acres regular there wont be anything left on it..you have to rotate it only going at the most twice a month through the season..now you have got this earn the respect of the farmer ..and with a bit of luck and the right attitude you could well be get some permission on the nighbours land..good luck and dont over work the land ... 3 Quote Link to post

Tomhill131 25
From what I gather a fair distance from you lol , all my permissions belong to the same family , and they aren't big fans of eating rabbits and none of them hunt so stumbled onto a good one, got offered the permission without asking so very grateful to them going to take few lads I know over and they will be repaying the favour. whitefeet4190 1,729
Normally farmers are a bit backward, I have been to a few places like that, I have been to places where the farmer has stood there and told me you can come on my land but there are no rabbits on here lol as the rabbits are chewing his laces out of ya mans shoes and then a farmer will ring me up saying it's like watership down here because he has seen 1 rabbit in the heged cop lol just go and see what it's like mate Atb 2 Quote Link to post
haymin 2,465
Probably a good idea to get some rabbits from your other permission take them down to that permission and say to the farmer that you got them at his , if that makes sence ??? Quote Link to post
