You were implying that her being able to sing made her something special mate, or thats the way I read it anyway. I dont think it does. Its all manufactured fame, shes where she is simply because she put herself out there and other people seen a profit in her. Being able to sing is just the beginning...dread I say she has "the X factor" but its true. She also got cheated on and that certainly helped her career. Maybe I see it as that bit of luck you need in life....just like the talented person who can paint and lands a lucky painting in an art gallery and goes on to greater things, or the lucky tradesman that lands on his feet with a big contract. Let's face it if you were walking along the road tomorrow and someone said you were the ideal candidate for what they were looking for and they'd make you a millionaire I'm sure you'd jump at the chance. She's had hits but bloody hell will any of it be remembered and can you even compare it to actual great artists. Actually makes me wonder what's the point in going to work. That's not a jealousy thing, just stating an opinion .There are also a lot of talented celebrities. Of course if someone wanted to drag me off the street and make me rich and famous I'd jump at the chance, but it still wouldn't make me any more talented.
