Looks very lean and fit to me  Trouble is that members of the public, or those who don't understand the Saluki type of body think that these dogs are thin: they're not, it's just a different type of muscle with no subcutaneous fat. If you really want the dog to look less 'ripped' then exercise less and add more carbs to its diet, but IMO it looks pretty darn good as it is.

True Skycat, to see a class of Salukis in a KC show would surprise manys a coursing man, also have you ever seen a hound trail ?

I can understand why some handlers keep a jacket on their hounds to keep them covered up and yet these hounds can do many miles at full speed, unbelievable.

But, in this day and age keeping dogs like such can get you a knock on the door and the so called experts will judge a dog to be neglected.

IMO all working dogs should be kept light with the exception of the working terrier who IMO should have a pound or two on him because of the threat of maybe getting lost to ground for a day or two.

To me sometimes to work a dog overweight can be cruel.

As others have said, there's nowt wrong with that dog. I wouldn't worry about her mate, but, just for the record, the best thing for puttign weight on dogs is lamb ribs in my experience. She looks in fine fettle.:yes:
