Great film - thanks. We stood with open guns in 1975. In fact not long after I was pulled up for leaving the cartridges in even though my gun was open!

the lads from plank lane still go out hunting they live local to me and I see them regular darbo the pit rucks are still there I mooch around there with my bushing terrier and my mates :thumbs:

Good to hear i dont know the area very well but i work with a few blokes from leigh we are all old feckers 50-65 they are not hunting lads but are cracking company. i enjoyed watching the film again i was 11 when i first watched it on tv carefree days. :thumbs:

Wilt, would that area be at the back of Woodacre's gaff, as I only know Leigh from there?

yes bosun it was at back of woodacres,i know them lads really well watched it before but watching it now does not half make me feel old but not as old as wilt :thumbs:
