Richard Warwick 50
Bought a Bedlington pup the other day lads, 15 months old, bushing but hasn't seen anything else, had him out yesterday after work and he flew through thick brambles and bolted a rabbit. Well happy with him, anyone on here work Beddies and have any advice? Quote Link to post
morton 5,368
Beddy,s are the most versatile of terrier, they make excellent bushing companions and will thrive at the task in hand, sadly many see the art of bushing and ratching about as all a Beddy is fit for,the main reason for this is they are, because that's all they are bred from.A few Beddys are bred from sterner stock, they will also thrive in a bushing kennel plus make honest fox working terriers, hopefully yours is one of the latter,if it happens not to be,then work it to its potential and keep it away from breeding, happy Beddy hunting Edited July 11, 2014 by morton 2 Quote Link to post

I wouldn't want a bushing dog going to ground anyway. 1 Quote Link to post
