moxy 617
http://www.chapelsteel.com/ft-lbs-joules.html Obviously it will depend on the ft/lb output to start with. Quote Link to post

paulk73 151
its a question of power plus accuracy more than anything else 1 Quote Link to post
thursodog 353
I have a fac v-mach kit in mines along with a buttoned piston, tuned trigger, polished internals, ptfe washers, barrel weight, added weight to the stock, high pressure breech seal, heavy MTC Taipan scope and a fixed spring guide. It weighs 12 lbs which i find ok and is very accurate at 20fpe. It also passes the pellet turret test. Awesome rifle C 1 Quote Link to post
thursodog 353
I have a wee trick to soften the recoil that I've been using for some time. I have a small amount of plumbing tap washers made from a dense black rubber, I take 1 and size it to sit inside the front of the piston between the top hat and polished spacer washer that seats into the piston sleeve. It works brilliantly in dampening the recoil and is such a simple trick. C 2 Quote Link to post

tomburras 2,729
Bit of fettling will see 30+ from an Blooming heck never knew that, I don't know hardly anything about airgun internals but that's a handy bit of power from a spring gun. How do they shoot at that sort of power level? Cheers. Tom. Quote Link to post
Rake aboot 4,935
Pretty good ( the ones I`ve used) It takes a bit of skill to make them consistent at anything over 22 or so. Once over 30 its a bit scatty. Once had a Diana 52 running at 39. Was murder to shoot though,, it was a test bed. It dieseled once and shot 78Ft/lbs,, and a hole through leather football and my garage wall. Quote Link to post
