Ideation 8,216
Right, so i've resisted putting this up. . . . . but i'm a tiny bit pissed off. I bid on a few things in the auction, out of good faith, I expected to get out bid on some, but I won. . . . and thats how it goes, so happily paid the money. Anyway, there was then that super cull of members, in which some of those that I had won items from were banend. The result -I have not recieved three items I paid for and have no way of contacting the owners. So i'm down £160 on the items I have not recieved. The joys of THL, what a f***ing joke. It will be the last time I ever bid on anything on here, or contribute any money to any causes.
pip1968 2,490
thats just so wrong mate i dont see why you should be out of pocket, either way you should get your prize what you bid on or your money back

Ideation 8,216
I'm not going to ask for any cash back, at the end of the day it went to a good cause, and the lad recieved it in good faith. Its not his fault that I have not recieved things. . . . .

paulus 26
Ok mate. so after this length of time and no mention of it to anyone who organised the auction, you then decide to put a post up slagging the site i have both email and phone number for gte and the email for readie all it would have taken was a message rather than a the "hunting life is crap" post, i posted status updates for a whole 2 weeks asking to make sure all auction items were first paid for and then despatched, you never said a word until now!!!! Ideation 8,216
Ok Paulus - Probably not the best way to go around it. But there you go, i'm tired and a wee bit pissed off. I paid for my items and sent my address to those in question - and i've given them the benefit of the doubt for a time, as folk lead busy lives, and i'm not the quickest at getting things done. I'm not sure I was quite slagging the site? But to be fair, deleting members at a time when they are attempting to sort out things which they have donated to a charity auction on the site, seems a little bit shit. And funnily enough, kicking up a public stink, is usually a very good way of getting things moving.
moxy 617
I wouldn't say joke ideation. More of a c***s trick. I'm pretty sure that one of those members is sneaking around on here under a different username.

Ideation 8,216
To be fair Paulus I've not really kept abreast of the goings on of THL, or any other site, and i've not had chance to speak to JB in a while. Our birds went to wood on Sunday, so i'm over worked, over tired and largely failing in the humour department. . . . oh and the Buzzards are well and truly off my christmas card list! I just thought that as the Auction etc was quite a positive thing on THL, that the powers that be, may have been slightly mindful of this when they went OTT on the big red button.
