Recommended Posts

Any of you lads take your dog to work with you I've got a pup coming and with winter coming up I'm out the house when it's dark back when it's dark . The pup will be at home with the missus and kids but I want to get some training done through winter and was thinking she could come to work with me in the van a couple of days a week with me she will only be in the van Couple of hours maximum a day the rest she will be with me walking about

mine comes to work with me and has done since she was 4 months old (17 months now).

I work flexibly but she's out and about in the car with me for a 3/4 hours occasional days, has to stay in the boot (estate) for the odd half hour on her own but on the plus side i'm able to walk her multiple times a day.

Like you mention it's great company if you work on your own, i couldn't do without her now, even just as a companion

Did it with my German shepherd ,but may be to much is not good.My shepherd got real bad separation anxiety when i couldn't take him on certain jobs even when the Mrs and kids were home with him he used to get real stressed out looking for me. Might depend on breed and how much time etc but my boy was as loyal as your get and it was dam hard to sort the problem out il tell you!
