Lure Machine Line

hello the line on my lure machine is frayed and could do with replacing, the only stuff I can find is this stuff http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=350704423703

will it be any good or can you recommend anything better

I use brick line off eBay, £5 for 250 m

I use fishing braid line on mine, IMO ya can't beat it!

Very strong and very thin....you can pick up 300m of 150lb strain for a tenner on ebay!

You won't something that's going to brake if it gets caught round the dogs legs, something thats to strong will cut to the bone.

A brick line as already said but not the nylon tipe.

Fook sake fishing braid dangerous mate, I use it for distance casting when fishing and have to ware a finger to stop it cutting me, it's like cheese wire,

Well iv Ben using it for over 2 years on mine and had no problems!

But each to their own I suppose!

And it knots like a wrong on, if your dog gets tangled in it and carry on running and the spool locks up, will cut to bone , promise ya, cause it's do strong and thin

Jwhizz420, I'm guessing u have used braid urself then, to have encountered such devasting consequences?

Mayb, how I use my lure to the way you use yours is different?

IMO the basic principle is to keep the lure infront of the dogs, and run it off at the last minute at an amost 90% angle, resulting in the dogs going straight on and the lure running safely and controlled under a piece if old carpet??? well this is how I use mine!

Anyway, like I said, I have done this without any fatal or crippling effects for Over 2 years...so I must be very lucky!

Wrap some round ya hands and try to snap it, it will cut you before it breaks, use what ever ya want , just given my advice as a experience angler . Please do it , let me know how ya get on ,

braided shark line .real tough.wont break.keep lure ahead of

the chase thru an eyelet in front of the machine to avoid tangling.

shouldnt be a bother.havent seen it yet
