whitehackle 4
Think my terrier might have mange, been to the vets twice, first time they said it was a skin infection, second they said she was allergic to pollen. A few weeks ago we dug some fox's that had really bad skin. I didnt mention this to the vet as I dont think they would like it. She has definitely got something wrong with her skin, I would like to try advocate but I carnt seem to get it without a prescription? Can anyone help? Thanks
Tiercel 6,986
Tell your vet if they have seen your dog you want advocate for fleas and heart worm. With our vet it's £24 for three pippets. They should not want to see the dog. Our vet wants £12 for a prescription, to enable you to buy it on line. TC

J Darcy 5,871
On mange, Advocate isn't 'all that'. I was speaking to a vet last week about it and there's been numerous cases where Advocate has been tried with mange and yet the mange was still present. Some vets don't have faith in Advocate. Don't overlook good old Stronghold.
